Special Needs Respite Care
Our special needs respite care service provides caregivers and parents of kids with special needs an opportunity to take a day or a couple of days off. The service is meant to provide temporary relief, which improves family stability and lowers the risk of neglect or unintended abuse. You can choose our special needs respite care service during emergencies or a time a crisis. It is also available for times when you need a few days off. Respite is available for kinship, foster, birth families, and adoptive families that may need support.
Our special needs respite care also caters to adults with special needs. Often these adults may be living alone for extended periods, and so respite care can ensure that they go about their daily life unhindered.
Certified Nursing Assistants
A certified nursing assistant also referred to as a CNA, helps patients undertake daily activities and supervises their other healthcare needs. A CNA will usually work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide the best patient care at home.
If you already have a nurse for your loved one, but that nurse requires extra assistance, either temporarily or permanently placed CNA is a perfect choice. We presently have some of the most experienced and compassionate CNAs who can be made available when needed, even on short notice.
Licensed Practical Nurse
A licensed practical nurse (LPN) is a qualified nurse to take care of sick, disabled, injured, and convalescent people. Our LPNs have years of experience working under mid-level practitioners and physicians and those who will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, depending on your needs. However, our Licensed Practical Nurse can also work autonomously, a lot like a registered nurse when it comes to providing care at your home.
Our LPNs are fully certified with experience. Plus, they can be made available on short notice, either for a short time or for an extended period. You can find out more about our licensed practical nurse service at any time.
Registered Nurse
A registered nurse is an excellent choice for professional elderly care, post-surgical care, wound care, urinary catheterization, IV infusions, injections, or even nursing assistance for people undergoing cancer treatment. Patients can avail all of these services at their homes, which allows them to recover in a familiar setting, often surrounded by family and friends. A registered nurse is equipped and experienced to handle the most common medical issues, making them the perfect choice for instances where a person may be coping with a condition.
A registered nurse can handle medical emergencies and situations that family members can’t. Home nursing services may also be cheaper than spending time in the hospital. That’s why a registered nurse is the best choice for most people who may be dealing with physical issues.
Companion Services
Our companion services are intended to be like an extra pair of eyes and hands on the ground with usually an older person. A companion can help with everything from carrying out daily chores to shopping at the supermarket and assisting the person in question in taking their medication on time. A companion can either be full time or part-time or even for a few hours.
One of the best things about a companion, especially for folks that live alone, is that they have company. Often older people living alone tend to fall into depression and social isolation, so having a companion can help rectify the situation while at the same time helping out with daily tasks or chores. We have companions of all genders, and you can contact us to find out more.
Vet Assist Program
It is a little known benefit provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for veterans’ benefit. The program is meant to help veterans or their surviving spouses who need to apply for the program to receive a benefit that can then be used for in-home care, also referred to as adult daycare. The benefit itself is referred to as “Aid and Attendance.”
The eligibility is a veteran who has served at least a day during a war. The VA benefit and the VetAssist program do not require overseas service, combat duty, or any disability related service. You can find out more about how the program works by getting in touch with us.
Caring Companionship
We understand you have a complex schedule. You can specifically devise your services around your lifestyle. Receive 24/7 care, even on weekends and holidays. We care about your safety and satisfaction.
Selection of Caregivers
We are very selective in the caliber of caregivers we refer. Upon registration, to ensure that the caregivers have no disqualifying past criminal records or have not been charged with abuse, they are screened through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
All caregivers must submit to an FBI level 2 background screening and receive a level 2 background “Eligible” result. All are qualified, licensed, insured and bonded. We strive to refer the most attentive, caring and professional caregivers in the business.
